Click

Adam Sandler has been one of my favorites for a long time. In fact, I've never met anyone who didn't enjoy his movie Happy Gilmore. Click is differant from what people generally expect from Adam Sandler. It's a comedy, but also has a good dose of drama. His charcter is a stressed out workaholic who has distanced himself from his family. Christopher Walken gives him what is suppossed to be a universal remote, but Sandler is shocked to find out he can actually control his life with it. Wanting to "speed up the process", he fast fowards through career issues to get ahead, and begins to fast foward through everything in his life he doesn't enjoy such as agruements with his wife. He didn't realize that he couldn't go back, and that sometimes what seems great at the time can be even worse than what you are dealing with. This film had me choked up once reality slaps him in the face and he comes to terms with missing out on his life. I highly recommend this film,as the lesson learned isn't lost in the comedy.
